Bowser Limo Pet Sitting Service is dedicated to improving the quality of animal life through continuing education, one on one animal care and improving owner awareness of their pets needs.
While working for an animal welfare shelter I enrolled in veterinary technology sciences at Northwestern Connecticut Community College in Winsted, Connecticut. I graduated with honors in veterinary technology sciences in 2002 and passed the uniform national exam for veterinary technician certification. While working full time in clinical practice I began pet sitting on the side for owners of special needs pets, siezure prone, diabetics, geriatrics, hyper thyroid. Animals that couldn't be boarded and benefited from the stress free atmosphere of their own home. To maintain my vet tech license I take continuing education . My special interests include animal nutrition, behavior, holistic medicine, gastro intestinal issues, animal poison control and feral cat colony management.
In 2007 I became accredited with Pet Sitters International. Accreditation with PSI requires education and testing in areas of business function, legal knowledge, animal care and animal health. By keeping up with current companion animal issues I will bring you a pet sitter you can rely on to care for your pet in the most responsible and knowledgeable manner.
A portion of my pet sitting profits goes to food and medicine required to maintain feral cat colonies, low cast spay and neuter, foster and socialization of young homeless animals so that they may be adopted into a loving home rather then be abandoned on the streets.
Rates;
Visits and dogwalks start at $25
Two visits a day or more get $5 discounts.($45 for two)
Senior or rescue discounts available upon request.
Overnights start at $75 per 24 hour period. Midday visits are $20 extra. Live in with your pet means I am there all night from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m.with your furry children. Detailed observations, training, socialization, plenty of fresh air and cuddling on the sofa are some of the percs.
